We’re excited to partner with you as you continue to level up your knowledge. We know that selecting a training partner is a serious undertaking and we appreciate you putting your trust in us.

We want your time with us to be an incredible experience whether it’s your first time with ETI or you’ve been entrusting your training needs to us for years.  That’s why we’ve put together some information that answers the questions we hear most frequently.  If you don’t see the information that you’re looking for, just let us know.  We’re here to help!  

What to Expect

When attending courses at our offices we want to assure you that we have done everything in our power to make it a positive experience.  That experience starts from the moment you walk in our door.  When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member or our staff and shown to your training room.  Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable throughout the day and hope that the extra touches we provide help to make this a reality.

Dress and Clothing

Each of our training rooms has its own thermostat to set the temperature at a comfortable level.  However, we realize that “comfortable” is subjective. With that in mind, we suggest you dress in layers and bring a light sweater or jacket in case the temperature is a bit cooler than you prefer.  We also ask that you dress in attire that is comfortable to you.  Jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes are all acceptable.   

Late Arrival and No-Show Policy

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start time shown on your course confirmation. Those arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will be invoiced for the full price of the course but may be asked to reschedule. 

If you do not attend a course for which you are registered and have failed to notify us of your intention to cancel, you will be charged the full amount of the course. 

Refreshments

We know it’s the little things that sometimes make the biggest impact.  That’s why you’ll always find fresh coffee waiting when you arrive.  If you happen to prefer your caffeine cold, feel free to help yourself to a soda. Not a coffee or soda drinker?  That’s okay.  We have bottled water and tea bags as well.

Looking for something to munch on?  We also provide little treats throughout the day.  Grab a granola bar in the morning or a sweet treat in the afternoon and know it’s just one way for us to thank you for joining us. 

Lunch

If you are with us over the lunch hour, there are several restaurants within a few minutes’ drive.  There are also several restaurants that will deliver your lunch to our office.  If you would like a suggestion, just ask a member of our team.  Prefer to bring your own lunch?  No problem.  We have a microwave in the refreshment area for your use and are also happy to refrigerate any food that needs to be kept cold. 

Class Times

All of our public sessions are scheduled to run between the hours of 9am – 4pm EDT.  Awareness and Discovery sessions will start at various times throughout the day so be sure to check your course confirmation for exact class times.  If you’re attending a Mastery class, we’ll start at 9am EDT and you’ll be on your way home no later than 4pm EDT.  

Private sessions are arranged to meet the needs of your team so if 9am – 4pm EDT is not a good time for your team just let us know.  We will gladly schedule private sessions for a time that is convenient for you.   

Billing

We know that no one enjoys paying bills, so we’ve made it easy.  You can use any major credit card to pay your course fees when you register for your course. 

If you’re working with a member of our team to set up a private session or individual coaching, we’ll send you an invoice and all we ask is that you make payment prior to your session. 

Location Information

Our offices and training facilities are located on the north east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. We’re located just minutes from some of Indiana’s best eateries, shopping and hotels.  Many of our students enjoy visiting the Keystone Fashion Mall, walking the Monon Trail or stopping by GiGi’s cupcakes during the lunch break.

Driving Directions

Coming From Indianapolis?

  • Take I-465 to the north side of Indianapolis.
  • Exit at Keystone Avenue/431 and go south on Keystone Avenue.
  • Travel less than one mile to the first exit which is 86th Street/Nora
  • Turn left or east onto 86th Street to the 2nd stoplight and turn right (south) onto Keystone Crossing.
  • DO NOT turn left toward the mall.
  • Take the first right and park at the 8500 building (next to Jared Jewelers building).

Our Policies

In order to continue to provide you with the highest level of customer service possible, we have a few policies to make sure your experience with us is always a positive one. We’ve covered the basics – Cancellation and Reschedule Policy, Late Arrival and No-Show Policy, Inclement Weather Policy and CPE/CEU Policy. Of course, we don’t want to get bogged down with a bunch of policies so we’ve kept it simple.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

Please Note
We cannot accept cancellations via email. In order to ensure your cancellation is properly recorded, we request that you contact us by phone. You will receive a confirmation number at the time of your cancellation. Please retain this for your records in order to ensure your account is properly charged or credited.

Microsoft Office or Adobe Application courses
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your enrollment, please contact our office by 5pm EDT at least four business days prior to your scheduled course date (e.g., Monday for a Friday class). Later notice will incur a late cancellation fee of $75.00 per student. Of course, we are always happy to accept a substitute student in your place.

Technical courses or Private Sessions*:
If you are unable to attend a technical course or need to reschedule/cancel a private session, please contact us two full weeks (10 business days) in advance to avoid a charge. Cancellations or reschedules 5 – 9 days prior to the start day of the session will result in a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel or reschedule fewer than 5 days before the start of the class, you will be invoiced for the full cost of the cancelled/rescheduled class.

*Courses delivered by our training partners may have a different cancellation policy. Please ask your account rep for details.

Late Arrival and No-Show Policy

Inclement Weather Policy

Sessions conducted at ETI
If you are scheduled to attend a session at our offices, a determination for weather delays and cancellations will be based on North Central High School’s schedule for the day. If the school is open, ETI will conduct the courses as scheduled. If North Central High School has a two-hour delay, ETI will delay the start time of our morning sessions by two hours. If you are scheduled for an afternoon session, call our office to make arrangements to reschedule. If North Central High School is closed due to weather, ETI will convert the sessions to virtual sessions. Login information will be sent to the email we have on file. Please notify us if there is an alternate email address that should be used.

Sessions conducted as webinars/virtual sessions
All sessions will be conducted as scheduled, regardless of inclement weather.

Sessions conducted on client site
If a session is scheduled to take place at your offices, we will plan on conducting the session as planned. If there is any concern regarding weather conditions, please contact our office by 5:00pm EDT the day prior to obtain emergency contact numbers.

CPE/CEU Policy

Our course certificates list the course name as well as the date and number of credits for which the course qualifies. For private sessions, certificates can be customized to also reflect the delivery method. Our completion certificates, however, do not include the CPE category. The 23 fields of study represent a compilation of fields of study used by the 55 jurisdictions. We recognize that boards of accountancy have varying rules on CPE fields of study so we leave it to the student to determine which field of study the course they select best fits. 

Credits are determined and approved by individual state boards. Many states do not require sponsorship agreements with training providers. However, each state board has final authority on acceptance of individual courses for credit. Students should contact their state board to see if a class is approved for credit prior to registering. You may be required to submit a transcript along with a copy of your course certificate. 
 
In Indiana, CPAs account for their own CPE credits and there are no approved providers. In the event they are audited by the State Board of Accountancy, CPAs need to feel confident that what they have chosen to take for continuing professional education contributes to their profession and, they should be prepared to explain why they chose these classes.
